COVID-19 / CORONAVIRUS
In this page we will provide as clear information as we possibly can so that customers can make an informed decision while employing our services. We have gone above and beyond to provide our customers links and resources so that these can be independently verified and debunk some myths that are going around.
We at CleanMe Cleaning in the wake of the spread of COVID-19 or Coronavirus in our communities is launching our Disinfection Services.
This is in conjunction with our total commitment to our Mission Statement which is to provide a safe and healthy environment to all our stakeholders and to contribute indirectly to the NZ economy by providing clean workplaces and homes.
As this is an evolving situation, we at CleanMe Cleaning are following the advice and guidance of Ministry of Health, Centre for Disease Control (CDC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and World Health Organization. Our cleaning systems, procedures and the use of cleaning chemicals are directly based on the recommendation of these organizations. In this page we will provide as clear information as we possibly can so that customers can make an informed decision while employing our services.
The disinfection service is suited whether you have had someone infected or showing symptoms of COVID-19 or whether you would like to use this as a precaution.
At CleanMe Cleaning we have the latest ULV fogging equipment. This is not only cost effective but is also used to disinfect large and often hard to reach areas in a very short time.
ULV Fogging is used predominately for the application of disinfectants, biocides, fungicides and pesticides. Our ULV fogging machines generate a fog or mist formed of Ultra Low Volume (ULV) adjustable droplet size between 10-150 µm microns. Studies have shown that droplets of this size are ideal to tackle pathogens, vector carriers and pests.
Our ULV Fogging machines operate on low noise levels making it ideal for any commercial and residential application including offices, healthcare facility, educational institutions, restaurants, public areas, buses or household.

Appropriate Cleaning Products
Important Read: In this section we have provided clear information in respect to the use of correct cleaning products. As clients aren’t aware of these and are being targeted and sold products and services which is not needed. This requires a tailored and customized planned approach rather than using general purpose cleaning solutions.
Cleaning products should be chosen for appropriateness for the surface to be cleaned. Unfortunately, simple household cleaners cannot rise to your expectations, no matter how often or regular they might be used. This is where our professional disinfecting services come into the picture. In general, combined detergent/disinfectant solutions or wipes should be chosen for hard surfaces. Some cleaning products such as bleach can damage fabrics, stainless steel and other surfaces. Cleaning products should have vircidal (virus killing) properties.
A list of products that are EPA-approved for use against the virus that causes COVID-19
- Acidic, neutral or alkaline. For most general cleaning tasks, a neutral detergent with pH between 6 and 8 should be used.
- Alcohol wipes with 70-90% alcohol (ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol)
- Sodium Hypochlorite
- Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) and Calcium Hypochlorite
- Hydrogen Peroxide (Our Preferred Choice)
